Introduction

Many of the sites and programs we use offer an accessibility checker. This tool is available in the rich text editor menu in Canvas, and you can review how to use the checker in Canvas here Links to an external site..

Project document

In Module 2, we will review use of the accessibility checker in Microsoft Word. You'll need a document to work with during the course. You can use a document of your own that needs review, or you can follow along with the Download Sample Syllabus

. In order to engage more actively in this lesson, choose a document that contains images and/or tables, and has various “sections”, or subheadings.
