Reading- ألحمامة و الثعلب و المالك الحزين

الحمامة والثعلب ومالك الحزين زعَموا أن حمامة ً كانت تبيضُ في رأس ِ نخلةٍ ذاهبةٍ في السماء ِ . وكانت الحمامة ُ تنقُلُ العُشَّ إلى رأس ِ تلكَ النخلَة ِ بشدةٍ وتعبٍ ومشقةٍ , لبعدِ النخلةِ وعُلُوِّها. وكانت بعد ذلك تبيضُ وتحضِنُ بيضها فإذا أنفقصَ البيضُ وكَبُرَ فراخَها , جاءها ثعلبٌ , وقفَ تحت النخلةِ فصاحَ بها وهدّدها أن يأتي إليها إذا لم تعطِه فراخَها , فتُلقيها إليه. وذاتَ يومٍ ,وكان قد كبُرَ لها فرخانِ , إذ اقبلَ مالكُ الحزينِ فوقعَ على النخلةِ . فلمّا رأى الحمامةَ كئيبةً حزينةً شديدة َالهمِّ قال لها: " يا حمامةُ, مالي أراكِ عابسةً حزينةً سيئةَ الحالِ؟" فقالت له :" يا مالكَ الحزينِ , إن ثعلباً دهيتُ به, كلّما كان لي فرخانِ جاءَني يتهدَّدني ويصيحُ في اصلِ النخلةِ فأخافُ منه, فأطرح إليه فرخي." فقالَ لها مالكُ الحزين ِ :" إذا أتاكِ ليفعلَ ما تقولينَ , فقولي لهُ: لا القيَ إليكَ فرخيَّ, واصعدْ إلى هنا وخاطر بنفسكَ , فإذا فعلتَ ذلكَ , وأكلْتَ فرخيَّ طرتُ عنكَ ونجوتُ بنفسي". فلمّا علّمَها مالكُ الحزينِ هذه الحيلةَ طارَ فوقعَ على شاطئِ نهرٍ , واقبلَ الثعلبُ , فوقفَ تحتَ النخلةَ , ثم صاحَ كما كانَ يفعلُ , فأجابتْهُ الحمامةُ بما علّمها مالكُ الحزينِ. فقال لها :" اخبريني , من علّمَكِ هذا؟" فقالتْ:" علّمني مالكُ الحزينِ." فتوجَّهَ الثعلبُ حتى رأى مالكُ الحزينِ على شاطئِ النهرِ فوجدَهُ واقفاً , فقالَ لهُ الثعلبُ: " يا مالكُ الحزينِ ,إذا أتتْكَ الريحُ عن يمينِكَ فأينَ تضعُ رأسكَ؟" قال :" عن شمالي". قال :" فإذا أتتكَ عن شِمالِكَ , أين تضعُ رأسكَ؟" قال :" أجعلهُ عن يميني أو خلفي." قال :" إذا أتتكَ الريحُ من كلِّ مكان ٍ وكلِّ ناحيةٍ أينَ تجعلهُ؟" قال:" اجعلهُ تحتَ جناحيَّ." قال :" وكيفَ تستطيعُ أن تجعلهُ تحتَ جناحيْكَ , لا أظنُّ انَّكَ تستطيعُ فعلَ ذلك , فأرِني كيفَ تصنعْ!” فأدخلَ الطائرُ رأسَهُ تحتَ جناحيْهِ , فوثبَ عليهِ الثعلبُ مكانَهُ, فأخذَهُ وضربَهُ وكسرَ عنقَهُ ثمَّ قالَ :" يا عدوَّ نفسَهُ ترى الرأيَ للحمامةِ وتعلِّمَها الحيلة َ وتعجزُ عن ذلكَ لنفسِكَ حتى يتمكَّنَ منْكَ عدوُّكَ. ثمَّ قتلَهُ واكلَهُ |
