Intro to Lesson 2- Unit 2

In this lesson we will complete a pre-reading task and then learn about how birthdays are celebrated in Lebanon by completing a reading comprehension passage and viewing a short video. 

We will also review ايام الاسبوع and use it in our invitations .

• To describe their own birthday planning.
• To learn about values of holidays and celebrations in other Arabic cultures

Success Criteria

• •  I can describe things I do when I celebrate my birthday
  • I can describe some of the events that I celebrate in my community and learn about other celebrations where the target language is spoken  (Egypt, Lebanon, UAE)
