Instructions

Each person is carrying a rich personal history.

In Chapter 1, you saw Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's warning about the danger of a single story. Sometimes, people use a single story to define others, but we have many stories. For a simple example, a person can be the daughter of someone and at the same time be a mother of a baby. Daughter and mother are both characteristics that tell us different stories about the same person.

Let's think about the stories that may be part of your life and/ or those who came before you in your family or your community.
