When you're writing your personal statement, it can sometimes feel difficult to try and describe what skills you have. The quiz on this website is useful for finding out what skills you may have, and you may then wish to use some of these skill examples in your personal statement e.g. "I'm motivated and committed", or "I'm enthusiastic and caring" etc.

The quiz takes about 10 minutes to complete, and it also suggests some careers that your skills may be suitable for.

This video made in 2020 was produced by North Wales GP Schools Session. The video lasts around 13 minutes, and is useful both when thinking about your personal statement and about work experience and extra-curricular activities (e.g. sports, music, art).
Although the video focusses on medical student applications, it is useful for applications to any health related degree.
