As a visual learner, I’ve come to realize just how much visual hierarchy shapes my ability to absorb and retain information, especially in online courses. I’ve definitely noticed that when content is laid out clearly, with big headings, good spacing, and a logical flow, it’s way easier for me to stay focused and understand what I’m looking at. If everything’s the same size or too crammed together, I get overwhelmed and don’t know where to start. When I first started designing slides (I’m talking very early development of digital classroom), I didn’t think much about layout, I just added the necessary content to present it. But now I try to be more intentional about making things easy to scan and follow. Even small changes like bold titles or grouping related info really help. It makes learning less stressful and way more enjoyable.
