The Senses
What is it about an experience that makes it memorable?
It may be a bright firework spectacle, a heart-warming song, the scent of burning amber incense, the taste of steaming beef, or the soft feel of a kitten's fur.
It may be a sight you witnessed, a sound you heard, a scent you smelled, a taste you experienced, or a touch you felt.
The senses.

- "The beginning of human knowledge is through the senses, and the fiction writer begins where human perception begins.” —Flannery O’Connor
We need our senses to perceive our world, and similarly, readers require sensual descriptions to immerse themselves into the writer's world.
The five senses come in a package, and when writing, its best to use them as they come: combined. Despite that, it will be helpful to discuss each sense on its own, to attune ourselves to their various intricacies!
