In which situations do they appear?
Knowing which emotions could appear in which situations is necessary, yet there is no "set in stone" guideline.
In essence, any emotion could come into a situation.
Let's explore that statement.
Say I find an old rusty box. What do I feel? Why?
I could feel sad, because the box was my late grandfather's and he's, well, dead.
I could be interested, because the carvings on the box remind me of some mysterious shapes I dreamed of.
I could feel anything but my emotion should be well supported with details to seem possible.
The lesson is apparent: while any emotion could appear in any situation, the feeling needs reasons - details that sparked the emotion, and facts that justify it.
